Devcon has an in-house sales department for effecting bank compliant Off The Plan (OTP) sales for its projects.

We have recently opened this capability to a few select clients that have engaged us as a preferred builder of their projects. Some have required the security of qualifying presales to ensure the construction funding for their project while others have sort comfort in securing a number of early ‘Off The Plan’ sales for their project.

Devcon has a national reach of over 900 selling partners who specialise in OTP sales, mainly into the investment market. We have a team of 5 Relationship Managers continually speaking to these selling partners to ascertain which of these partners would be most suited to different projects.
Our experience tells us that not all selling partners will sell all of the various products on offer!

The key from our point of view is that the earlier we are engaged the better. Our process is most effective when we are engaged in the OTP sales process at the earliest stages possible, even pre-DA in some cases. This enables us to carefully select the appropriate selling partners about the project and get their insights into what will be required and how long it would take to engage in the project.

Our team works with the developer client and provides honest feedback on the project, we then map out an OTP sales plans and how a blended cost of sale would look for the project. By adopting this approach, we leave far less to chance, and we can solely focus on executing the sales strategy in line with continuing reporting.
